Divisional Manager, Housing RenewalSpot £62,000 + 10% PRP

We are seeking an experienced regeneration professional to lead Liverpool's Housing Renewal Division. This is a high profile role which will play a key role in leading housing regeneration within the City. The role includes leading the delivery of the HMRI Pathfinder programme, working in partnership with the New Heartlands team and our local communities to ensure the restructure of the housing market in the Inner Core of Liverpool as part of a wider strategy to create sustainable communities in the City. The post will also play a significant part in delivering the housing led regeneration of key parts of the City including the Eastern Fringes estates. The post will involve working in partnership with a range of strategic delivery partners including developers, RSLs, funding agencies and our special purpose vehicle, InLiverpool.

The post offers real challenges and opportunities. With over 76,000 homes in the Liverpool HMRI area the post handles housing and area renewal of a significant and major scale across the City. We are seeking someone who can drive our programme forward and can bring both innovative and practical solutions to the issues we face. At the same time, this offers a unique opportunity to develop your career and experience and work within the context of a European city such as Liverpool, the Capital of Culture 2008.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a successful track record in engaging members, communities and partner agencies in developing strategies and delivering programmes.
