Job: Governance Support Officer, South Kilburn New Deal for Communities

2008 sees South Kilburn NDC enter the last 3 years of its 10 year, £50.6m regeneration programme. This coming year will see the start of a crucial phase, with the anticipated final agreement on a £1 billion housing redevelopment programme, and working to further develop and sustain our local projects. Together with our Partners we are delivering a large regeneration programme aiming to make a difference where it matters most to local people.

Governance Support Officer (Scale 5) £20,598 p.a, including London Weighting.  (Two year fixed term contract)

We are also looking for an organised and practical individual whose key responsibility will be the management and coordination of the NDC Partnership Board. This will involve working with a variety of the NDC’s key partners including statutory agencies, the business community, and elected members on a resident led Board. You will have experience of providing professional and efficient administrative support, with good communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of individuals and agencies. As the single point of contact for NDC Board members this role will also involve managing the Board training budget, and the research and summarising of strategic information for the use of the Board members.
