Senior Town Planner (EIA) – Environmental Consultancy - Manchester

£30k-£40k + Full Bens

The Company:

A market leading environmental consultancy is in the process of actively developing its planning capabilities in the North West and is in need of a Senior Town Planner to compliment its team which primarily focuses on the Waste and Minerals sector. Being an international multi disciplinary they are able to offer exciting opportunities for career progression as well as globally prestigious projects that are prominent in the public eye.

Duties:

You will be required to work in all areas of the planning industry with a strong emphasis on Renewable Energies. The role will entail working in a multi disciplined environment, on existing projects as well as managing new campaigns from conception through to completion. All work will be in line with RTPI legislation and you will be a mentor to other members of staff working on site as well as in the office. Specific training will be offered if required.

Experience:

Successful candidates will ideally have 5 years minimum post qualification experience and hold a full RTPI membership. You can be from either the Private or Public sector with experience in both markets being advantageous. Applicants who can demonstrate a proven track record of working in EIA’s and/or Minerals and Waste will have an advantage over others.
