An experience Principal Policy Officer is needed byt this South-West london borough to work on a long-term contract.

As the Principal Policy Officer your main responsibilities will be to develop planning policy guidance and provide policy advice arising from the Council’s statutory responsibilities. You will be required to carry out work related to the preparation of Local Development Documents, including evidence gathering, policy formulation, monitoring and implementation as well as monitoring the Council’s plans & policies and from this produce reports as required. As an experienced Policy Officer you will need the skills to provide specialist, expert Statements and Proofs of Evidence on behalf of the Council at Public Inquiries in connection with the work of the Strategic Planning Group.
