Job: Senior Consultant / Associate Director, Cobalt Recruitment

Our client is one the UK’s fastest growing independent economic development and regeneration consultancies, with offices in Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield and Exeter. 

A specialist Economic Development & Regeneration Consultancy, they have a strong client base in both the public and private sectors, delivering a portfolio of high profile development, masterplanning, housing, research and policy based projects.

Their projects are focussed towards Government Offices, Regional Development Agencies, and local authorities, as well as many other partnerships with the private sector and other professional consultancy businesses.

They are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual to join their Manchester team as a Senior Consultant / Associate Director.

Reporting to the Director in charge of the office, your role will be to provide high quality consultancy services to clients throughout the UK and will involve working for both public and private sector clients offering a range of services from strategy and programme development to appraisal and evaluation across the broad spectrum of regeneration activities, delivering a portfolio of high profile development, masterplanning, housing, research and policy based projects.

Candidates should be either RICS or RTPI qualified and will have extensive experience in the planning and regeneration sector. You should be able to demonstrate expert skills and considerable experience of working in at least two of the following fields:

• Masterplanning and regeneration strategy • Regional / sub-regional planning and economic policy development • Development appraisals and delivery advice • Planning policy development and research • Development control
